The strength of the LIDS team lies not only in its design expertise, but in a shared mindset. They are curious, observant and open-minded, continually seeking to understand how people live, interact and experience space.

 

At LIDS, no idea is treated as untouchable. The team encourages one another to question, refine and, when necessary, begin again in pursuit of a better outcome. This willingness to remain open throughout the design process fosters a culture of continual learning, thoughtful dialogue and careful consideration.

 

It believes that good designers are shaped not only by the projects they work on, but by the lives they lead. Experiences gathered through travel, culture, hospitality and everyday observations contribute to a richer understanding of human behaviour and the environments they create.

 

While each team member brings their own perspective, they collectively share a common belief that thoughtful design begins with understanding how people live.
